Is any job, even that of US Senator, worth selling your soul for? [View all]

I get that they are afraid of a very vindictive president. I get that they are afraid of losing their next election. But how is it worth it to totally sell your soul to stay in good with a corrupt president and a corrupt party?

If I had a job that made me sell my soul, I'd rather lose the job.
