I prefer to grasp situational influence and start at the beginning. It may have been unintentional but Comey caused this.

Nothing subsequent has been surprising in the least. I have been beyond amazed at the ongoing insistence that Trump will resign or Trump will be removed from office or Trump won't be the nominee. It has always been nothing but ignorant hogwash. Once someone is elected you have to expect 8 years.
