I doubt that Ms. Chong is the only underaged person who had such an experience with Jagger or any of dozens of other musicians. Such shenanigans were a commonplace.

I doubt anyone checked anyone's ID in such situations. That said, a 33-year-old married man shouldn't be fooling around with young girls of any age. Rock musicians have a poor reputation with that sort of thing, for sure.

Teenagers have sex with each other. Everyone knows that, and teens can consent to such activities. The laws in most places recognize that. However, grown men who don't bother to know how old someone is before having sex with them should assume that very young people are not older than the age of consent. They don't, obviously, but they certainly should.
