2. This Needs To Be THE Central Issue Of The Election

The Democrats need to HAMMER this point repeatedly. DO NOT let the Republicans distract and take the focus away to something else. A re-election campaign is usually a referendum on the incumbent, and that's GREAT for us. Unfortunately, it was great for us in 2004 as well, but they successfully distracted us with a bunch of other issues and turned it into a referendum on the CHALLENGER. DO NOT LET THEM DO THIS AGAIN!!!

If they try to distract and bring up ANY other issue, we bring it RIGHT BACK to impeachment and corruption. "Well, that's an interesting question, but what I'd REALLY like to talk about is this BOOMING economy and blah blah blah blah blah." "Yeah, that's great, but CORRUPTION CORRUPTION CORRUPTION!!!" If the debate moderator asks a question about national defense, you bring it RIGHT BACK to corruption. Don't let them wriggle away from this. Make them own it and hammer it incessantly, and I promise you it will bear fruit.

Get distracted by THEIR attacks and spend time parrying and dodging and responding to THEIR blows (like Kerry did), and I promise you our country is screwed. Be a pit bull with a T-bone. Do not let it go for any reason.
