28. Makes you wonder if they even teach anything about the Kennedy era...

Even seeing a tiny clip of his son as the funeral procession went by, can reduce me to tears.

But with raising my own young daughters (who are now young women,) it was up to ME to instill in them the respect, and the gravity of that time, and what is okay and not okay. Sadly, their friends were raised by parents that just didn't talk to their kids at all. They were pretty much on their own after grade 6. The teens have their own phones, own electronics, etc., and have no real connection with the real world. If it didn't happen on youtube, it didn't happen. Most of their friends are self absorbed and shallow, and it wouldn't occur to them that saying shit like that was illegal and immoral. They live in this weird privileged techno-bubble. Trust me.. my girls KNOW what's right.
