then there is also a phone number to call in results. That has worked fine in the past and will today as well.

And, here, we know that our votes are counted and not disappeared into the ether from a no-paper-trail voting machine. Even in the general, our votes are done on scanner pages, so a hand recount is possible.

The point is there are always last minute things that go wrong. In EVERY system that deals with large numbers of people.
