33. I started off working with

the Cesar Chavez folks in AZ in 67, during the grape boycott.

I was an active anti-war protester attending U of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and just missed being at the DNC in Chicago in 68 for demonstrations/riots because I was back in AZ again, I think that was the lettuce boycott. No, not that was later.

I was campaigning for McCarthy that summer, in Goldwater country. My fellow students at UofI came back to class that September with broken arms, bashed in heads, highly pissed off at the thugs in Chicago in police uniforms.

I didn't start protesting and supporting the ERA with NOW til a few years after we got rid of Nixon, so I can't add that to my List Resume, so to speak.

And then there were the drugs.....
