The establishment politicians are simply using him for the useful idiot he is. They're getting everything they want. Lifetime judges who will rule in favor of their real constituents - the corporations and the .01%.
His base cult followers, the idiots in red states that continue to vote against their own interests, love him because they are him. Rude, crude, racists. They all think that, one day, they will become him. They'll be rich and able to say and do whatever they want without being held accountable. They're not blind, they're stupid for believing him.
