6. It's not a "Do-Nothing Senate", that's for certain.

They effectively ripped up the Constitution. They changed the entire structure of government. They were radical to the extreme. They did quite a bit.

The nation is in free fall. We have yet to see the real consequences of a dictator. It takes a few months. Then we'll be shocked, and shocked again, and alarmed, and panicked. And we'll point to the acquittal that got us where we're heading.

Look for mysterious deaths and for vengeance jailings and prosecutions. Look for persistent news reports of more violations of election laws. And expect that the GOP will welcome Trump's lawbreaking and dictatorial actions. In case you haven't noticed, the GOP is enthusiastic about a dictatorship. They WANT to destroy the Constitution. It isn't an accident that they all voted to acquit. They made a conscious choice with known consequences.

I think it's a near miracle that the polling organizations haven't been hacked by Trumpers so far. Maybe they have. But we can expect that Trump will manipulate the polling numbers in his favor. He's quite adept at living inside his own reality bubble, but he CAN expand the bubble to include polling organizations. He'll order his hackers, Russian or otherwise, to breach the databases and manipulate the raw data. I'm convinced that this will be his next victory.
