He deems to know what is inside the mind of Romney and Pelosi? Or he thinks that the only "right" thing is the thing that benefits him.

Nancy Pelosi says that she prays for Trump. I believe her. She has shown in many ways that she follows the social justice tenets of Catholicism. My grandmother used to say that she would pray for me. She was not praying that everything went my way or that I was always happy and without struggle. She was praying that I would do what was just and that I would get through life's troubles safely and grow from my experiences to become a good man. Pelosi has said and again, I believe her, that she prays that Trump sets aside his selfish desires and does what a good leader should. She isn't praying for him to get what he wants, because what he wants is not good for anybody. She is praying for his soul, that he be changed and that he repent for his ridiculous ways.

Mitt Romney said that his Mormon faith and his memory of his father guided his decision to vote to convict. He said he wanted his grand children and great grand children to be able to look at history, likely through their lens of faith, and see that he was on the correct side in his decision.

A person with any decency would have said nothing about that, or at least said, "While I disagree with the result of his decision and while I disagree with Speaker Pelosi, I do not doubt that they are acting on the convictions of their faith." But, we know that Trump has no decency; that he fashions himself above all of the small things like ethics, morals, religion.
