They truly are. Hating someone requires such a negative emotional investment.
I have read of the "Donnie dimwit" label. And that would certainly explain some of his anger.
But not everyone who is abused becomes an abuser. Trump must take the blame for that.
As to his delusion, it is matched, in my view, by the delusion exhibited by his most fanatical supporters.
