My mother was sent to a nursing home against my will, and I could not get her sprung. That is, until she lost her Medicaid, and I refused to get it renewed for the ratfuck nursing home. They packed her up and delivered her back to the address on the paperwork. She came home to live with me and was happy until she passed away at the age of 82. If I hadn't existed, they would have put her on the street -- more likely, she would have been sent to an ER, and they could have refused her readmission to the home, thereby stranding her in a hospital. A very bad system, and I wish some President would figure that out.
