5. Baseball, too.

Loads of Dominicans, Cubans, Venezuelans, etc., not to mention more and more Japanese players. As for hockey, I feel extra bad for the European players, because when American-based teams play Canadian-based teams, they have to sit through two meaningless anthems. The same goes for Toronto Blue Jays players of other nationalities.

The worst part is that most of the anthem "singers" out there make a bad song even worse. They don't sing. They scream and screech and yodel the damn thing, and otherwise embellish the shit out of it. I generally hit the mute button when it comes on. I can't take it. Few people can sing it well.
