In reply to the discussion: Witness Testifies A Crying Jim Jordan Begged Him To Lie In Sex Abuse Case [View all]SunSeeker
(58,415 posts)33. Wrong, FBaggins, reread the article. He asked his lawyer AND a former player.
Right before where you cut off the quote:
Jordan, he said, called him repeatedly that week. I had to have my lawyer call him to tell him to stop calling me, he said.
,,,
Adam DiSabato, who had previously said little publicly about the scandal that made his brother a household name in Columbus, Ohio, and roiled the states most famous university, told the committee he also asked a former teammate named George Pardos to tell Jordan to stop calling him.

Clever truncating you got there. WTF?
And Pardos does not deny that Adam asked him to tell Jordan to stop calling him. What he denies is that Jordan was "burning up Adam's phone," whatever that's supposed to mean, nor does he deny Adam was a victim:
Jimmy wasnt burning up his phone to get hold of him, said Pardos. But Adam is a victim and Ohio State has been very dismissive of the victims and there is a lot of frustration.

And how would Pardos have personal knowledge of how often Jordan called Adam? Regardless, one call from Jordan is too many. Sheesh. WTF? Did you even read the article you cited? Why didn't you include the full paragraph in your quote?

OP
Guess what? Thanks to Republicans, most phone carriers preserve 2 years of phone logs.

Not in girl's locker rooms, nowhere I've seen. Of course I haven't seen them all.

In some states, teachers etc. are required to report when any suspected abuse occurred.
