Trump is a bully. He wants to get under people's skin. When you lash out at him, he enjoys it.

I agree that we need to stop with this false decorum. We need to be strong with our language and not be afraid to simply label what Trump is and what he is doing.

I do not see any "constituents" gravitating toward Trump that follow any other candidate. None of the Democratic Candidates are losing supporters to Trump by any metric.

You don't want to get into a fist fight with Trump ala Biden. You don't want to trade insults either because it is childish. What you want to do is what Nancy Pelosi does to him. Make quick, biting, truthful comments about who he is and what he does. Those drive him crazy. You do want to stand up to him and respond when he says something stupid, which is often. You don't want to engage with him, but about him.

Other than that, I am not sure who you are talking about that is "cowering" from Trump.
