I too have a cyst in my brain...I have had two mri's one regular and one enhanced, 6 months apart.

Cysts are common in the brain.
My neurosurgeon said it nothing to worry about..

On the other hand my son in 1998 had seizures at work, was rushed to the hospital on a Friday and was having brain surgery on Monday.. He was diagnosed with GBM...Glio Blastma Muliforme .. same tumor as Ted Kennedy.

He had two surgeries, chem and radiation and then a week of palliative care. He died in October 1999..

Canada has great health care. We did not have health care bills for our son. My husband was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma 2 months after our son was diagnosed.

He had surgery, blood transfusions, radiation, chemo , stem cell transplant, his own stem cells harvested. and finally palliative care in the hospital for 3 months. Zero cost.

I would never want to be treated in the USA...NEVER.
