who did the things accomplished in the last 4 years.

I should go look up the transcript and pull that out of there, but perhaps you can recall a brief litany of accomplishments during his administration each one of which he ascribed to us.

That is a vision I can commit to. It's interesting that it is also a vision that has some difficult political implications for him, as, since there are a wide variety of Americans, the things that we do will always bear the traits of our differences with one another, but since it is a vision of doing, that is, a vision of behaviors, actions, verbs, it is also open ended development that grows out of the people's own commitments to living their visions of their own lives, NOT someone else's vision of what our lives should be according to them, not the lives that the 1% deigns to bestow upon us, but what we actively share amongst us along with whatever our differences are. Class mobility in such a world would be different, don't you think, because there would be more options. I hope.

In art, my daughter tells me about the importance of "imperfection" to a creative event/experience. That gives me hope for our differences, the imperfections if you will, amongst us, which, through the lively motive of freely chosen commitment, can enhance our vision verbs, can enhance the discovery of our visioning.
