39. fond LI childhood memories

we moved to setauket summer of 1963 and St. Georges golf course was the place to go for sledding in the winter. it was also the short cut to gumbus deli on 25-A via Long Island RR tracks.

Rennisance Technologies now stands in the farmers field that was a short cut to the new strip mall. Associated with Robert and Rebecca Mercer. Robert has a mansionn in Head of the Harbor and was working towartds his math/computer science PHD at Stony Brook at around the same time my BIL did.

Great memories, and glad I finally moved away in 1979. Way too crowded and expensive, not to mention ruined.
