10. I didn't know cancer was caused by 'poor health care choices'

Alert the NIH! Rick Santorum has solved the problem of cancer!

Of course, that doesn't make much sense to my Dad (died of brain cancer at 51), my two sisters (diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago -- both are in remission, thank God), and me, who had prostate cancer at 59. While none of us are Olympians, we take care of ourselves. Clearly, under Dr. Santorum's diagnosis our cancers were due to poor health care choices.

God, these guys are idiots. Notwithstanding my long held reluctance to wish ill of another person, I wish that each of these Repukes would experience every single horrible thing they are espousing -- try to live on Social Security alone, watch your loved one suffer horribly because they 'made poor health care choices" and have no medical insurance, wake up one morning to find they are gay, and no matter how many Christian workshops they go to the desire to listen to Barbra Steisand albums won't go away (sorry for the stereotype, guys).

Listening to Repugs talk is like walking through an alligator-infested swamp -- except the alligators will leave you alone if they're not hungry. These guys kill because they like it.
