(29,106 posts)I always have lots of canned and easy to prepare food in the house because of earthquake danger here. Also the particular area I live in is very hilly and frequently loses power in snow storms so I usually have quite a bit in the pantry in the winter. I am a Costco shopper and usually have an extra case socked away under the bed in the spare room. I know, I'm a little weird. The toilet paper is probably my biggest worry but as long as Amazon is still delivering it shouldn't be a problem.
My husband is going to work tomorrow. He's getting a little annoyed that I'm getting a little hypervigilant in reminding him to wash his hands. I've never been that concerned about keeping things pristine around the house but I am wiping surfaces all the time and finding new things to clean. I'm keeping hand sanitizer and wipes in the car and wiping the car door handles and steering wheel and gear thingie. I think the hardest thing though is not touching your face. It's something we all do reflexively and it's a struggle to break that habit.
