27. We don't have anything like that here. I wish we did sometimes.

It might upset the nature of the towns here, though. We have our outdoor farmers market in the town square like they have been doing here for the last 800 years, and no one here wants to see that disappear. Obviously, that is not where people get water or toilet paper, but even those stores are adjacent to the town square, where the market is, so one rarely has to go far.

We are very exposed, as we have control-free borders with about 9 other countries. Where I live, it is less than a 2 hour drive to Holland or Belgium, and less than 4 to France. It takes under 90 minutes to fly from here to London, Paris, anywhere in Switzerland, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna, Milano, Denmark--you get the idea. Two hours, and you can be in Spain, Hungary, Croatia, Sweden, etc. Once there has been a case here (and there have been several), it's more a question of time than anything else.
