Because it brings together the moderates and progressives.

Kamala Harris would make an ideal AG, but I'm not that excited about her as VP.

Elizabeth Warren is frankly splendid, and I am totally confounded as to why she is not doing better.

Anyways, all just idle speculation on my part!
