ALWAYS announces something as if it is a "thing" and then later, when that thing does not come to pass, we're already several news cycles down the road, and it gets buried.

He rolled out this HUGH!!1! "peace deal" to kick off his coronavirus press conference on Saturday, thinking that this would be what gets attention, blunting the negativity of the spread of the virus, but the deal obviously wasn't even worth the paper it was printed on.

Lather, rinse, repeat.
