the regular face masks aren't an effective deterrent against this virus so why is a govt leader promoting a company who makes them?

Maybe Pence has 3M in his investment portfolio and he's just their to safeguard his financial interests. Trump was touting the need for investors, trying to capitalize on the fears and suffering of victims in his greed for profits.

This is all Pence is good for, more staged photo ops and grinning while mouthing Trump's lies and propaganda.
