The pension check comes once a month, we shop, and then we don't shop again.
That's not because of covid-19. It's always like that in this house.
We have some fresh fruits and veggies at the beginning of the month, but after they're gone we move on to frozen. We buy big packages of meat and then portion them out for meals and freeze them.
When we run out of bread, I bake some.
About the only things we buy that won't last the whole month is milk and half & half.

I think you are able to go outside your own home, as long as you stay away from neighbors.

My wife and I could go about 45 days if we couldn't go out & electricity and water was shut off

I have a job, but supply side yes. Propane, stove, camp supplies, food, water, etc...
