Showing Original Post only (View all)This vicious cycle of electing a Republican President after a successful Democrat needs to stop. [View all]
It's like clockwork. A Democratic President cleans up the mess from a Republican. He (and hopefully one day, she) implements responsible economic policies and appoints dedicated public servants, resulting in a strong economy and a government that works.
People then take all of that for granted and elect a Republican to save a few bucks in taxes, and we eventually wind up with an economic collapse and a government that is so inept that people literally suffer and die.
So in response, we elect a Democrat to clean up the mess. Lather, rinse, repeat.
This loop needs to end.
