If she actually had a disability, it would not be taken away. So what exactly happened here?
I realize your conversation went in an entirely different direction, but I'm still stuck at "her disability was taken away by Obamacare".
A few years ago I worked for an attorney who did social security disability appeals cases, meaning, if a person had applied for disability and was turned down, she'd take their case if she felt it had merit. It was very enlightening on many levels. One was that people who got SSDI didn't get very much money. Another was how hard it was to get SSDI. Another was that most people trying to get this would really rather be working.
So I get back to, what was her disability and how was it taken away by Obamacare?
