12. I try to not talk politics in person

With people I know who are Repug-leaning. Facebook is another story however.
There's 2 kinds of Repugs in my acquaintance:
1. "pro-lifers" brainwashed by their church. I will not attempt to talk politics with them.
2. One guy--a very close friend--says he's fiscally conservative and distrusts the government to do anything good. But he's appalled by the antics of the birthers and the racists that have taken over the party. Not a woman-hater either. He'd be an old-fashioned Rockefeller Republican if such a thing still existed, and I can respect that.
If he votes for Romney his wife's vote for Obama will cancel it out.
