Congressman Kennedy believes climate change is not a threat tomorrow, but a crisis yesterday. A supporter of the Green New Deal, he supports aggressive Congressional action to protect our health, environment, safety and economic stability. He has prioritized the development of a clean energy workforce as well as combating the impact of climate change on working and middle-class communities that bear the brunt of inaction. Etcetera, etcerta.

Like Markey, the Newton Democrat has received high grades from environmental groups for his votes in Congress and is an original House co-sponsor of the Green New Deal. “Joe supports an aggressive move to net-zero emissions and a nationwide mobilization to address the climate crisis,” Kennedy spokeswoman Emily Kaufman told Boston.com in a statement.

“He believes we must prioritize health, safety, risks and costs for frontline and fenceline communities, American workers, and all those already forced to bear the brunt of our inadequate climate policy and broken energy infrastructure,” Kaufman said. Etcetera, etcetera.

Took seconds to pull those and many others up, grabbed the top two.

Btw, the League of Conservation Voters endorsed Markey, an endorsement he's earned. But as a young, relative newbie Joe Kennedy's annual and lifetime ratings are also very high. Not exactly the enemy.

A little information is a good thing.
