If you're sick, or anyone in your house is sick, no one should leave the house because they potentially expose others
If your community is heavily impacted, you elect to self quarantine to protect yourself
If supply lines are interrupted, there may be shortages
Depending on the number of people in your home, you could be homebound for several months (6 weeks per person with staggered sick times)
Toilet paper isn't something you want to run out of
The shelves are empty at Costco by noon. Get it now

My local Costco gets regular shipments of toilet paper. They're gone the same day they come in.
