And the American people recognized it and kept the Republicans out of the White House for 20 years, after their policies wrecked the economy. Most people probably don't know this (to quote Trump) but the Republicans never had control of both houses of Congress and the Presidency again until George W after 2001. In fact, they've only controlled Congress and the White House three times in history - in the 1920's, in the early 2000s, and in the first 2 years of Trump's term. Hopefully it won't happen again for a LONG time after this!
