Trumpists realize that.

He chose from the start not to approach it from the containment perspective. A lot of ideas exist about why. I just thought, considering his general paranoia and specific germophobia, he deserved to have his paranoia and germophobia ridiculed.

His idea of containment is, like everything else about him, a matter of image projection rather than the real work of containing the spread. Make it look like he has contained it and has it under control, but don"t actually do the things necessary to contain it.
