3. We used them at my elem school

where I was a teacher. They are called "privacy boards". It is to allow kids to focus on their work since they sit at group tables and easily get distracted. They also cut down on cheating. In my class we voted all the time so we used them as voting booths (it was a very pro-voters' rights/democratic classroom). They LOVED it.
