5. My local grocery store just last week unveiled "Self Check Out" with touch screens

and they are encouraging people to use them, and you have to use them if, like me, you shop very early in the morning before the human checkers arrive. You've got people right behind you waiting impatiently, and you're repeatedly touching a screen that virus survives on for more than ninety hours (96 I believe) and that dozens of people have touched, sneezed and coughed on. It's safe if you remember to wash your hands immediately after you leave, but if you get flustered you can touch your face by mistake or transfer virus somewhere else on your person or to your bag and bring it home that way.

Normally I wouldn't worry about it, but now it's hard not to be conscious of every move you make.

I'm thinking of doing most of my shopping at another store.
