3. Grocery shopping and general errands for at-risk or elderly parents and neighbors

is one thing my sister and I will likely be doing.

I have a neighbor couple in their late 80s and I've been trying to think of ways to help them.

One of my local grocery stores just introduced self check out. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but my sister and I were thinking of asking them to hold off until after this virus moves through because of how unhygienic the self-check out stations are. (My town has a very high population of elderly folks.)

I'm on the lookout for other ideas too. We do have a local service that brings food to people who can't get out.

Great idea for a thread!
