But lets wait and see how badly we can overwhelm our hospitals before we get serious about doing something.
If there are no ICU beds it wont matter why you need the bed. Everyone will be subject to whatever triage rules are followed.
The 2001 attacks created a two tier security system where first class travelers got a shorter line. I knew we were screwed when the country accepted that. Im not complaining about precheck by the way which had a legitimate argument.
Will we wind up with a two tier ICU system? Pay 10k a day in cash and you jump the line. I think people might balk at that but who knows.
