In reply to the discussion: Seriously, how is your anxiety level right now? [View all]MontanaMama
(24,766 posts)64. I'm scared.
We dont have any active cases of Covid19 here in Mt at the moment but it is coming. I spent all of yesterday in the hospital with my husband and his father who died yesterday afternoon. While I knew he was failing and that he would probably not live through the day, it was difficult to be present when I was so worried about not touching anything...my face, surfaces, door knobs...when my father in law was restless, I would run my hand over his forehead or arm to soothe him and while that should have been easy, it wasnt. As soon as he would fall asleep again, I ran for the sink to wash my hands. This is a nightmare.

Higher than I'd like. It was odd with the juxtaposition of how beautiful a day it was.

Elevated for myself, but terrified for some around me in very high-risk groups.
