44. I've got typical symptoms. The doctors I'm in touch with are downplaying it and telling me it's flu.

The only symptoms I don't have, are shortness of breath, and fever. But those can be later in the progression. At this point, it's gone from sinuses, to throat. This morning, I woke up and it's a dry cough, and it may be moving into my chest.

I've been prescribed medicine for the cough, and body aches. My doctor has downplayed the need to be tested, and gave an evasive, sidestep answer when I asked about it. This reflects the political clusterfuck reality we're living in today.

Living in San Francisco, my job puts me in touch with an ocean of people from all corners of the world, every day. Of course, I've stopped going to work. I have good Kaiser insurance, with Senior Advantage plan. My inability to get tested is very concerning to me.

At this point, every man / woman / child is on their own.
