(58,785 posts)12. Yeah, and I missed the kicker about shutting down, darn it.
Sheltering at home is already sounding less than conducive to happy fantasies.
So I deleted and was able to come up with another -- that our nation was functioning as it did before 2016. The Republicans were already dismantling and destroying, and accelerated big time in the 1990s through then, but even so our resilience made it a long slog for them.
