(9,999 posts)Then I am tentatively back on schedule for two 4 hour shifts/week for the next two weeks. I am aware that could change. We are open with a skeletal crew 2 to 3 employees maximum.
Son going to college had next two weeks completely cancelled, then will be finishing semester online. His full time hourly mall job involves filling Internet orders and so far he has milked almost full shifts though admits much of time is spent just talking to coworkers as there are often no orders to pull. Husband is working from home for first time which required clearing out the spare room so he could spread his work out and have two screens available. I volunteer with some community groups and all meetings/events have been cancelled. One is a food pantry and the city refused to let us distribute food from their city hall (which is where they let us store the food for free in unused back offices). We serve some very needy areas in near suburbs of Chicago. I hope by next week they figure something out.
Much of this just happened today!
