that a scientist said exactly that, and a reporter heard the word "cure".

All my adult life, I've looked at news stories about stuff that I knew a LOT about, and found them inaccurate. It makes me wonder about stories that I read where I don't know much at all about the subject. I was down with the concept of "fake news" before it became a Trumpian buzz phrase.
