KISSIMMEE, Fla. —
Though many amusement parks have closed down due to coronavirus concerns, Fun Spot in Kissimmee and on I-Drive are still welcoming guests.

The park's owner said Fun Spot is smaller than Disney and Universal, so the team of employees can handle disinfecting everything at the park.

Owner John Arie said the decision to stay open was for the more than 1,000 people who work at his parks.

"It was about giving them enough payroll and income that they can still put food on their table, keep the power on in their house, do everything they need to do just to survive," Arie said.
