strategy backfired almost immediately. Even people who have not been paying a whole lot of attention heard that and remembered how scared they were back then. That "fear" has dissipated.
MSM is not pushing back on that so much any more because all signs and graphs point to the fact that " Yes, as a whole, we ARE better off.
