8. I went to the special hour for seniors this am

at the Dollar General a block from my apartment. Got milk, grapes, a head of lettuce, couple of potatoes, an avocado and chocolate! I don't need eggs yet, since I still have a dozen in the fridge.

They even had a couple of packages of TP on the shelf!

There was no one else in the store except people stocking shelves. No line to checkout. Didn't hear anyone cough.

My freezer is packed. Between canned goods and what's in the freezer I have enough to last at least 2-3 weeks without having to make a trip to a regular grocery store.

I did make a big pot of chicken soup last week that lasted several days and I have the ingredients to do it at least 3 more times. Besides, chicken soup cures everything, right?
