Do Not Go To The Grocery Store Because You Are Bored

73. One of my sisters texted this morning about the same sort of thing

She had to have chemo and radiation almost 2 years ago, so her immune system is shot and she has avoided going anywhere but finally decided to give it a shot (had to supplement her hubby's halting attempts at "shopping for the family" ).

She said she whipped out her baggy of wipes and did her cart and found that people in the store refused to at least stay a couple feet away (let alone 6ft). She said she eventually had to use her shopping cart as a battering ram to move people away.

My other sister and my niece went out in the rain Monday night "gloved up and with masks" and hit one of the smaller private supermarkets and then one of the regular markets, and they were able to load up. She said she discovered that they were stocking in the evenings vs overnight, so stuff is gone by early the next morning (as I have discovered).
