Not everyone who lives there or goes to the beaches are rednecks though. Politically it is more repuke than Dem. My friends' congressman is Gaetz, and they hate his guts.

I've visited beaches on the Atlantic in my younger days - St Simons, Miami, Hilton Head, Virginia Beach, Daytona, Rehoboth (Delaware). None of those were as nice as the panhandle beaches or those near Gulf Shores, Alabama. They are also much better than those trashy beaches in Mississippi.
