6. The most-obvious reason to reject Christianity is the fact that there is nothing

in the “life story” of Jesus as presented in the NT that is any different from similar stories told about other godmen from the same time. There is nothing about the story of Jesus that requires him to have existed as a corporeal human being, any more than the stories of Zeus or Odin need a human foundation for their life stories. The mythical basis for all of these godman is basically the same in broad terms. The only difference lies in which specifics are accessed from the menu of “looks like a god man” characteristics and applied to a specific godman or god.
