Maybe humanity will catch up one day.

A great line from Carl Sagan's "Contact." Professor Arroway is asked what she would say to any "aliens" she encountered.

She said, "I would ask them how they did it."

Question: "Did what?"

Her answer: "Survived their adolescence."
