Gov. Polis and Mayor Hancock have done a great job. They reacted in a timely manner, have been transparent, and have played the political minefield with the likes of Ken Buck marvelously. Polis would make a fine president one day.
Inslee, Whitmer Newsome, Polis, Cuomo, to name a few have been great leaders. As for Republicans I will admit that Dewine, while still being wrong on just about everything, still seemed to try to get ahead of this as well. Heck, I think Gavin Newsom deserves major props. California has such a large population, so many cities, and such high density yet, have managed to keep their cases low. Even while they are a completely global society with so many maintaining an international presence in all aspects of their lives.
