and blend them with 2 Large diced White Onions in a ziplock then freeze. I use this as a start to marinara or spanish rice. If you let them defrost you get mush. The trick is to toss them straight in to hot oil, that way they hold their texture. There will be some spitting but 10 seconds with a lid on is all it needs.
